N A I L S

Sorry I haven't blogged in nearly a month! It's so bad but I've been really busy with art deadlines and English coursework and haven't had the time to relax and blog for a bit. I hadn't painted my nails since my previous blog, I think that's a record, so here are my nails for you, inspired by the wah nails which is the first image, and then my recreation of it, my nails had grown and decided to do borderline point/ round, nail shape and I'm thinking of cutting them as soon as so I can get to wear some funky acrylics for the half term, which is next week! Woohoo! But I will defo be uploading and ootd everyday for the half term as I'm going away with family, and will be heading to London, not for lfw unfortunately but will hopefully see a few famous peeps ;)
See you next week guys!

W I N T E R HAUL

I've been doing a bit of on-line shopping recently, as i haven't had much time to go out into town, due to A Level work. So nothing compares to being in the comfort of your own home wrapped up in a blanket and spending money on some fabulous clothing! a few of these items you might have seen in my river island wish list, however, i saw them on sale on line and just had to buy them straight away! I have recieved a few of these items, but the river island clothing, i have to collect from store so, in the christmas holidays i will be doing ootd, so stay tuned for that, which will feature these!
Enjoy!

If you didnt know already i am absolute obsessed with Leopard Print, all thanks to Justin Bieber! I used to despise it and think of it as tacky, but now i have come to my senses and realised its the coolest print on the planet! So when i saw this sweat shirt i had to buy it! Its a timeless piece and is perfect for those days when you want something easy, yet cool... and they would go perfect with the leather trousers...

now these trousers are an absolute bargain, originally £30, you cannot go wrong, there are still all the sizes available so you have to get them! they are cuffed at the bottom, and are perforated, which make it different from all the other leather trousers out there. They're so effortless and cool. and so versatile, they can be worn street, or chic if paired with white pointed courts and a white sweatshirt or roll neck jumper.

Now i have recently purchased the iphone 5S, in gold, which i am absolutely in love with, and i couldn't dare see it smashed, or even the slightest scratch i would cry for (no i am not over exaggerating)... But this has arrived and i love it, the material it is made out of.. some sort of really soft and smooth plastic, just makes me want to touch my phone all the time! the only downfall is that it doesn't protect the front. So right now my phone is living in a clear plastic front and back cover which is used for day to day, so when i am going out i can always switch it up, as i am gathering quite a collection!

now this bag i have wanted for so long and was featured in m  river island wishlist post, which i will link here. Now this bag was originally £22, which i wasn't willing to pay, so when i was just generally browsing, and i saw River Island had updated their sale line, i just had to buys it straight away. its an absolute steal for just £10 I REPEAT £10!!!! its a beautiful bag that is so versatile used as a day to day bag and also a night clutch bag! GO GET IT

Now this skirt again is an absolute steal, so you guys need to always keep checking the river island sale stock on line, cause they're adding new pieces as we speak! this PVC, vinyl texture we've seen everywhere, especially the infamous topshop  baby pink vinyl pencil skirt. I'm not a fan of the pencil skirt personally, and i think i suit more structure, a line, skater shapes. so when i saw this skirt for originally £25 to just £10 i was in awe and added it straight to my bag before you could say "bag" yupp that quick!

Now i am so upset, as these have sold out, but check both asos and monki regularly to see if they will bring it back. these are perfect for this winter as they are so flattering, with their high waisted tapered style, with black and white checks, they fall into the trends perfectly. they're not so checkered, that they're in your face, like my red checkered scarf, so they keep the trend effortless and cool, rather than punk and grunge They work for both day and night and honestly are perfection. The fit perfectly, and i seriously cannot wait to pair them with some Chelsea boots. Ill be doing a post on cheap and cheerful Chelsea boots tomorrow so keep an eye on that ;)

This tshirt was also seen in my river island wish list, when i went a bit holgraphic ott ;) but i love this tshirt so much, and seriously cannot wait tp wear it! its an absolute steal for £10 from £22 so grab it while you can!

I have been after a bomber jacket for years.. now i mean years. just the perfect one has never come my way  until i laid my eyes on this beauty... its both smart and swag, i can hear you scramming"PERFECTION"  its both a long winters coat..and a cool bomber jacket. the perfect combination.

finally i have been looking for an awesome cobalt blue nail polish everywhere, and it is all sold out in boots and superdrug, so i found this while browsing on river island, and just had to buy! love love love!

V E R S A C E

I love versace, and especially their new collaboration with lady gaga which i am so excited about! I love their versus collection, but nothing compares to their sophisticated legendary Medusa, Grecian themed clothing. I decided to do some nail art as i haven't done it in so long, and i thought to myself 'YOLO'. Go for designer nails at the non- designer price! So here are my Versace inspired nails, which I literally did now, so fresh off the press! i posted a picture on my instagram (you can find more nail art/fashion photos there).  I love monochrome on my nails, and nothing compares to the sophistication of a white base with black detailing! Ive seen this Grecian border on clothing in misguided which i LOVE! so very on trend too ;)

I just used my white collection 2000 nail polish along with my models own black nail art pen! Hope you like them, and send me some of your creations or ideas!

The Versace lettering was created by first starting of with all nails painted two coats of white nailpolish. Then with the striper end of the nail art pen i did two stripes going vertically allowing a white centre, enough to write versace in block capital letters, which was created using the pin point part of the nail art pen, which allows precision and flow....

This white base with black border was inspired by the House Of Holland fake nails, (available here) which i need to get my hands on asap! the border was easy to do, just a white base and then using the black striper i did the border in four parts, bottom, left, top, right. You can either make it square or rounded, depending on the angle of the corners...

Apologies for it being so out of focus  they were taken on my 5s which is proving difficult when wanting close up shots. Anyways.. this was probably the trickiest as it needed a lot of precision and accuracy, and the baby that i am, i practiced before hand on a scrap piece of paper, better to be safe than sorry ;) so after a few practices i just thought i would give it a go, i first, like the thumb, created two stripes, leaving a white center, however i didn't fill it in so left it as two lines. This gave me a general outline, keeping the nail art straight. A few mistakes were made - the thickness differed throughout, so i just got my white nail art pen and went over it, however this is just me being fussy!

And lastly my pinky finger which was highly simple yet effective, using my nail art pen i went just a bit more than half way, painted a line and filled it in upwards...

And here is the final look!
