N A I L S

Sorry I haven't blogged in nearly a month! It's so bad but I've been really busy with art deadlines and English coursework and haven't had the time to relax and blog for a bit. I hadn't painted my nails since my previous blog, I think that's a record, so here are my nails for you, inspired by the wah nails which is the first image, and then my recreation of it, my nails had grown and decided to do borderline point/ round, nail shape and I'm thinking of cutting them as soon as so I can get to wear some funky acrylics for the half term, which is next week! Woohoo! But I will defo be uploading and ootd everyday for the half term as I'm going away with family, and will be heading to London, not for lfw unfortunately but will hopefully see a few famous peeps ;)
See you next week guys!

P A R T Y SEASON #3

Here are my top 3 outfits, i would personally wear for this party season, i feel all three outfits will suit any style and personality, and cater for every individuals' needs. Each is cool and edgy and glam, and are perfect for either Christmas or new years.  Enjoy!

'All Gold Everything'

Gold has to be my all time favourite colour, after pink of course ;), i see this outfit and it just reminds be of the ideal 1920's flapper girl, which were seen everywhere in the infamous Great Gatsby. Rather than the typical 'Gangster Gold' with oversized sweaters with massive chains, which i personally love too, but i've taken a twist, and reinvented gold, to be one of glamour and sophistication.

'Pretty in Pink'

I love pink, if you didn't know already ;) its every girls dream , to be able to wear all pink and work it! I love pink, especially in the pastel tones, border line nude, it looks so chic and fabulous. Taking a twist on the pink trend, i paired this all sequin ensemble together, perfect for new years or a Christmas party. i didn't feel the need to add any dramatic accessories, as the bralet and pencil skirt speaks for it self, so i kept accessories to an absolute bare minimum. But, the minimal look, adds to the chicness.

'Iridescence'
Out of all three, this personally has to be my favourite, its so glam, yet cool, with the iridescent hues of rich greens and blues and browns.. I adore this metallic sweat from topshop, and just gives a casual touch to the outfit, or an everyday sweater with jeans is perfect too. I love love love the choker i paired with this outfit. its so fabulous, and look so expensive! as you know i am a sucker fore leopard print, so when i saw the iridescent sophisticated edge on the tshirt, i just knew i had to pair it with the absolutely gorgeous velvet iridescent sequin skirt. Again perfect for any party, especially for this time of year. Paired with the holographic heels, your set to go!

V E R S A C E

I love versace, and especially their new collaboration with lady gaga which i am so excited about! I love their versus collection, but nothing compares to their sophisticated legendary Medusa, Grecian themed clothing. I decided to do some nail art as i haven't done it in so long, and i thought to myself 'YOLO'. Go for designer nails at the non- designer price! So here are my Versace inspired nails, which I literally did now, so fresh off the press! i posted a picture on my instagram (you can find more nail art/fashion photos there).  I love monochrome on my nails, and nothing compares to the sophistication of a white base with black detailing! Ive seen this Grecian border on clothing in misguided which i LOVE! so very on trend too ;)

I just used my white collection 2000 nail polish along with my models own black nail art pen! Hope you like them, and send me some of your creations or ideas!

The Versace lettering was created by first starting of with all nails painted two coats of white nailpolish. Then with the striper end of the nail art pen i did two stripes going vertically allowing a white centre, enough to write versace in block capital letters, which was created using the pin point part of the nail art pen, which allows precision and flow....

This white base with black border was inspired by the House Of Holland fake nails, (available here) which i need to get my hands on asap! the border was easy to do, just a white base and then using the black striper i did the border in four parts, bottom, left, top, right. You can either make it square or rounded, depending on the angle of the corners...

Apologies for it being so out of focus  they were taken on my 5s which is proving difficult when wanting close up shots. Anyways.. this was probably the trickiest as it needed a lot of precision and accuracy, and the baby that i am, i practiced before hand on a scrap piece of paper, better to be safe than sorry ;) so after a few practices i just thought i would give it a go, i first, like the thumb, created two stripes, leaving a white center, however i didn't fill it in so left it as two lines. This gave me a general outline, keeping the nail art straight. A few mistakes were made - the thickness differed throughout, so i just got my white nail art pen and went over it, however this is just me being fussy!

And lastly my pinky finger which was highly simple yet effective, using my nail art pen i went just a bit more than half way, painted a line and filled it in upwards...

And here is the final look!
